FAQs
What does it take to join?
A prospective ThirdHome Reserve property must pass a thorough quality review. ThirdHome asks for one or two confirmed weeks to start. There are no fees in the first calendar year. Annual dues are $295 starting in year two.
How do stays work?
Reserve members book available weeks on the site or through the dedicated Reserve team. The team handles outreach when a specific week or home is desired, and any property in the club is requestable.
How are travel credits earned?
What are the booking fees for Reserve stays?
Can someone book before earning credits?
Yes. As an exclusive benefit to Reserve members, Keys can be fronted when applicable, so you won’t be forced to wait until your home books.
Is a security deposit needed?
No. Every stay includes Host Assurance protection up to $5 million, along with the owner’s insurance policy.
What services are included?
Each home is unique. In the Reserve, many properties do have a dedicated staff, or the option to bring in staff or additional services such as additional cleaning, private chef, massage therapy, etc.
Does membership in The Reserve include the full ThirdHome network?
Yes. Reserve credits (Keys) work across all Reserve properties and the global Exchange.
Can members buy extra credits?
Yes. Extra Keys are available at $1,000 per Key when needed.
How does the Reserve network grow?
Growth comes through referrals and introductions. Each member and property is carefully vetted appropriately.
How is Reserve different from the main Exchange?
Reserve offers higher base credit values, a higher level of service, a curated collection of world class properties, and more. Travel credits (Keys) are earned only when your property books, but Reserve members have the exclusive benefit of being fronted Keys to book trips when applicable.
Can a confirmed stay be cancelled?
All Host bookings must be honored. Guests may cancel, but fees are nonrefundable unless a replacement guest is secured.
